HI there !
My mum has just phoned me from Gnosall to let me know about your site. My
husband and I live near London but we were married in Gnosall at St
Lawrence's in 1997. My family is probably one of the oldest in the
village. If I tell you my maiden name was Deakin it may (or may not!)
ring some bells. My grandparents were very big in the village and now my
mum and dad live in the family home outside the village as the family has
done for about 60 or so years.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I loved the site - it made me feel very
homesick so let me know if I can do anything to help. I'm a PR consultant
by trade but I'm expecting in May (travelling all the way back to Gnosall
just to have the baby because I can't bear to be away) so I've got a bit
of time on my hands. I'll ask my dad if he'll let you have the picture I
painted of the house! Actually, my dad knows loads about Gnosall so I'll
try and persuade him to get involved - he could do you a great piece
about the railway - only he's very proud of the fact he knows nothing
about computers so I'll have to encourage him a bit...
Anyway, keep up the good work and I hope to hear from you soon.
Regards
Carolyn Gunn
