This Site has been operating fully since January 1999 and originally part of the Community Council of Staffordshire initiative which is now defunct
The site is best seen using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or greater full screen.
It has been created purely as a hobby and I did hope it would become the 4th focal point for the village after:-
1) The Shops and the Community Centre
2) The Churches
3) The Pubs
In its seventh year now it still not made it.Just a bit of info:-
The Gnosall Web:) logo includes the :) which, if you turn sideways, is a smily face. It's taken from :-) 'smiling' which is part of a collection of shortform 'smileys' used in the original email and usenet conversations. although a little 'nerdy'. just for your information here is most of the 'smiley's:-
